Choose from our curated fabric library, select lining, buttons, stitching, and personalize with monograms or custom embroidery.

Measurements
Precision measurements taken across 30+ points. We capture posture nuances and body asymmetry for a truly anatomical fit.

Pattern & Cut
Your unique paper pattern is drafted by hand. Fabric is cut with surgical precision, accounting for pattern matching and nap direction.

First Fitting
The basted garment is tried on. We refine balance, drape, and proportions. Adjustments are marked directly on the garment.

Final Assembly
Hand-finishing: pick stitching, buttonholes, lining attachment, press work. Every seam is inspected under natural light.

Delivery
Final fitting and delivery. Your garment arrives in a custom MAVA garment bag with care instructions and free alterations to 1 year.

What items of clothing do you make?
Mava Collections creates premium custom African outfits for distinguished gentlemen and we ship worldwide.
We make luxury kaftans/senator wears, embroidery kaftans, agbadas/grand boubous, suits and blazers, wedding groom outfits, couples traditional sets, traditional caps and a variety of pants.
How long does it take to produce an outfit?
Our production process usually takes 2 to 10 days maximum depending on the design.
- Shirts/Trousers – 2 days
- Free wears – 2 days
- Luxury kaftans/senators – 2 days
- Embroidery kaftans – 5 days
- Agbadas/Boubou – 5 days
- Suits – 5 days
- Beaded designs – 10 days
- Traditional sets – 10 days
- Wedding outfits – vary by design
We offer a 24-hours express service as well and have just 3 slots available per week. Talk to a customer service agent to book a slot.
How does the Mava Collections measurement process work?
We use the Mava Collections SmartFit Measurement System which guarantees a perfect fit. You can choose one of 3 options depending on your convenience and preference.
To proceed with your custom outfit, you choose one option:
- Option 1 — Measure a well-fitted outfit
- Option 2 — Send height, weight, body type and usual size (We then estimate measurements professionally)
- Option 3 — Send full body measurements
We will review and confirm before production to ensure perfect fit. We ask a few questions to build a picture of your preferences. You may be required to provide a recent full picture of yourself (your face can be covered) in case you don't know your size at all or can't get measurements.
How can I be sure the clothes will fit?
At Mava Collections, we use our SmartFit system to ensure accurate sizing. In the rare case of minor adjustments, we guide you on quick local alterations.
Your satisfaction and perfect fit are our priority.
What do I do if my outfit doesn't fit perfectly and needs adjustment?
With our measurement system in place, we rarely have fit issues. But if we do:
- Take a few guided photos wearing your Mava clothes.
- Give us your feedback on the fit on WhatsApp or by email.
- Send the clothes back to us at the address we provide.
- We will have the adjustments made and delivered to you in less than 2 weeks. You take care of only delivery cost.
What currency are your prices listed in?
Our prices are in CFA but you can change it to your local currency.
How do I make payments?
We receive payment by MTN Mobile Money (MOMO) or Orange Money (OM).
If you are out of Cameroon, you can use any of these third-party apps to make your payment to us: Nala, TapTap Send, Afriex, LemFi, Remitly, Sendwave.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 4 - 6 working days.
You will be updated by the delivery agency on the progress of your parcel. We use third party agencies that offer express air shipping.
For USA & Canada, your parcels are delivered to our partner's office in Maryland and Quebec respectively. You could pick it up from there or request for delivery to your doorstep.
Those in Europe and African countries, a DHL tracking number will be given to you. Shipping goes directly to your doorsteps except for France and Monaco. You may be required to pay custom clearance fees by your country before delivery. You will be contacted for this and this may affect the delivery time if the process delays.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping cost vary depending on your location.
- Cameroon – 1500 – 5000 FCFA
- African countries – 13,000 FCFA per kg
- USA or Canada – 13,500 FCFA per kg
- Europe – 15,000 FCFA per kg
International shipping cost depends on the weight per order.
We ship to specific locations in the US (Columbia, Maryland) and Canada (Quebec). Shipping from Cameroon to these locations take 3 – 5 days. You can pick it up from those locations or request for delivery to your exact location using a third-party service in your area.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to USA, Canada, Europe and most African countries.
What materials are your clothing made from?
We pick high quality fabrics for all our orders. Our focus is durability and the best texture for the design. We use cotton, cashmere, pique, super 130, super 450, crepe, damas and lace. We choose materials based on the design to be achieved.
How do I place an order?
You can order through our website or on WhatsApp by talking to a customer service agent. If you have specifications or special request or just need a human touch, please use WhatsApp +237 655 002 447.
Where are your clothes made?
Our production house and headquarters are in Douala, Cameroon.
Do you make clothes for big and tall people?
Yes. We make perfect fitting clothing for people of all shapes and sizes. We have happy customers from under 5 feet tall to over 7 feet tall, and from under 120 pounds to over 300 pounds.
How should I care for my MAVA clothes?
We recommend the following methods.
- Ankara: Wash with cold water and tumble dry on low heat. No detergent needed. Just savon.
- Kaftans/Senators, Agbadas: best method is to dry clean. Alternatively, wash with cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Due to the nature of some dyes, some color may rub off of dark fabrics onto lighter colored surfaces. Please use extra care with multicolor garments, and only launder inside-out with other similar colored clothing.
- Beaded outfits, Suits, Pants, and Blazers: Dry clean only.
